Local SEO in South Florida, Tampa Bay and Orlando

Florida SEO company: four markets, not one state

Florida has four metro areas above a million people and not one of them carries the state. Google builds the local pack around the person searching, so a page that lists Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville ranks in none of their packs. Awilix works them one at a time.

Where it is won

Sit in the three local results of the metro you actually sell in.

One target: your business inside the local pack of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville.

  1. 01

    A listing for each address

Each address you trade from gets its own listing, with the categories, services and service radius Google needs to count it as a real place.

  2. 02

    One page for each metro

Pages built on what a buyer in Coral Gables or St. Petersburg types, not one statewide page with the city names swapped.

  3. 03

    Reviews in the buyer's language

A steady review flow at every location, answered in the language the review was written in, Spanish and Haitian Creole included.

  4. 04

    Links from Florida sources

Florida chambers, trade bodies and local press carry the authority that keeps a listing inside its pack.

How it runs

How Awilix builds Florida local SEO.

Five steps, a deliverable and a date on each, repeated per place.

  1. 01

    Metro audit

Awilix lists the metros you really sell in, who holds their packs today and which one you can take first: South Florida, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Jacksonville, the Panhandle. Ranked plan in twenty-four hours.

  2. 02

    Listings, hours and zones

One Business Profile per address, your name, address and phone consistent across the Florida directories, and the hours set to the right zone. Nine Panhandle counties run on Central time while the rest of the state runs on Eastern.

  3. 03

    Metro and city pages

One page per place and per service, on the queries that place actually produces, tied to this hub so a statewide search lands on the right local page.

  4. 04

    Reviews and Florida links

Your team collects the reviews at each address, Awilix earns the links from Florida sites. The pack reads both signals, and one without the other stalls.

  5. 05

    What arrives every month

Your rank in every pack you care about, the calls, the direction requests and the forms, listed metro by metro. Budget follows the places and the months that pay.

Why Florida

What changes between Miami, Tampa and Pensacola.

01

No metro carries the state

Florida counted 23.4 million residents in 2025, and its largest metro, Miami up to West Palm Beach, holds just over a quarter of them. Tampa Bay follows with about 3.4 million, Orlando 2.8 million, Jacksonville 1.8 million. Four markets, no capital. Orlando is third by population and first by visitors, 76.7 million of them in 2025, so a large share of its demand never lived there. A business that owns the Miami results can be invisible in Tampa, and the owner rarely notices, because they only ever search from their own office.

02

Florida runs on two clocks

Nine Panhandle counties sit entirely in the Central time zone, Gulf County is split down the middle, and the rest of the state runs on Eastern. An 8 a.m. opening in Pensacola is 9 a.m. in Jacksonville. Three settings drift when a team treats Florida as one clock: the opening hours on your Business Profile, the call tracking windows, and the ad schedule. Set them once for the whole state and the Panhandle listings are wrong by an hour, every day of the year.

03

Spanish is not a translation job

Two thirds of Miami-Dade speaks Spanish at home, 67% in 2024 against 37% in 1980, and Hispanic residents are 69% of the county. Someone who searches in Spanish reads the listing, the page and the reviews in Spanish. That means pages written for the Spanish queries that have volume, the languages and attributes set on the profile, and reviews answered in the language they came in. Awilix built and ranked a hotel site in six languages, organic clicks up 307%.

04

Prices published up front

Awilix publishes its rates, which almost nobody does in local SEO: $2,000 for a local audit, from about $1,600 a month, $150 for a single page worked end to end. Miami and Pensacola pay the same. What moves the number is how many addresses you need inside a pack, how contested your sector is, and the state of your site when we start. The detailed quote arrives within 48 hours.

Four metros, four packs. The Panhandle is its own build.

Florida is four metropolitan markets and a Panhandle, not one state market: 23.4 million residents, and the largest metro holds just over a quarter of them. Google serves the pack nearest the person searching, so a Florida SEO company has to work them separately: one Business Profile per address, one page per metro and city, a review flow at each location in the buyer's language, and links from Florida sources. The same method produced the programmatic city pages we built for a Quebec real estate developer, with organic traffic up 850% and leads from SEO up 104%.

Human plus AI

Where AI helps and where it does not.

AI buys you speed and reach. It does not buy you judgment.

It reads who holds each pack from Brickell to St. Petersburg, tracks where you sit week by week and drafts the city pages faster than any team can. You cover more ground on the same budget.

A person still signs off on every page and every listing. If it does not sound like your business, or like the city it was written for, it does not ship.

What Florida owners ask

Six answers you should get before signing anything.

The questions that come up on every Florida call.

Awilix publishes its rates, which is rare in this market: $2,000 for a local audit, from about $1,600 a month, $150 for one page worked end to end, and a detailed quote within 48 hours. The figure does not change between Miami and Pensacola. What changes it is how many addresses you want inside a pack, how contested your sector is, and what shape your site is in when we start. A full technical and semantic audit is the first deliverable, not a sales call.

There is no single best Florida SEO agency, and it helps to know what ranks for that question: three of the results on page one are agency directories, and one of them lists 28 firms while ranking above all of them. Ask four things instead. Which Florida places have they worked, by name. What is the price, in writing, before you sign. What arrives every month, and who writes it. What do they do about AI answers. The questions that expose a fluff agency are all cheap to ask.

Yes. Tampa, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples, Tallahassee, Pensacola and the smaller towns each get what a metro gets: their own page, their own keyword set and their own Business Profile, all attached to this Florida hub. Tampa Bay is not a South Florida suburb. It sits about 280 miles up the coast, with its own pack and its own competitors, so it is costed and built separately. The same structure already runs on our Arizona state hub and its city pages.

Yes, and that surprises most owners. Google builds the local pack around the person searching rather than around the metro, so Miami, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach each return their own three results with their own businesses inside. A ranking in Brickell does not carry 30 miles north, and one page titled for several of those names tends to rank for none of them. Each place gets its own page, its own keywords and its own listing, and this hub is what sends a statewide search to the right one.

For anything storm driven, yes. The season runs from June 1 to November 30 and peaks in September, and the searches for roofing, tree work, water damage and impact windows arrive in hours, not weeks. The listing, the service areas and the review flow have to be right before June, because nobody builds authority during a storm. Budget rides the season, and the snowbird months from October to April move consumer demand the other way. The monthly report shows the swing per metro.

In Miami-Dade, usually yes. Two thirds of the county speaks Spanish at home, so a Spanish query returns a Spanish page when one exists and your competitor's English page when it does not. Elsewhere in the state it depends on who buys from you. What we do: pages written for the Spanish queries that actually carry volume, the language and attributes set on the Business Profile, and reviews answered in the language they were written in. A machine translation of your English page is not that.
